Bishop Manogue broke open a four-point game at halftime to defeat Reno, 59-47, in the 5A North regional basketball championship. On the girls side, Reno avenged a regular-season sweep to defeat Spanish Springs, 44-37, for the Huskies’ second title in a row.
All four teams will compete in the Class 4A state tournament, which is Friday and Saturday at Spanish Springs High School.
